Welcome to my portfolio! As a passionate game developer, I specialize in crafting immersive and engaging game worlds. My work focuses on game design, creating unique gameplay experiences, designing intricate level layouts, and balancing challenge and reward. My Game Dev.
While at the University of Utah's Games program, I got to work with many talented and creative people. The following link is for my most recent project, Syke, and highlights my design process from preproduction to the title's final build.
This year I will be trying out new game engines to make levels for, with the the first project being for Far Cry 5 Arcade. I chose this engine to showcase my knowledge of making a level that supports both aggressive and stealth play styles. Please stay tuned for more updates as the year goes on!
When working on a project, I try to stick to my design process, as I believe it keeps me focused and on track to complete work on time. This process of mine was shaped by my professors, readings, design videos, and GDC talks. These resources have made me a better designer than I could have reached on my own. For these reasons, I've decided to keep a reference page, so that I could refer back to lessons and share my favorite things about game design with others.
